United Nations Declaration on Homosexuality

United Nations trying to declare homosexuality legal around the world.

In December of 2008 the UN General Assembly presented a declaration against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

The declaration could be used to force countries to recognize same-sex marriage, and prevent churches from speaking out against the gay act. It is important that this dirty act be opposed.

If one was to look carefully at the divide between those for and against at wapedia. It comes down to black nations against and white nations on this declaration.

The only Caribbean nation to have oppose this hideous act has been St. Lucia thus far. The others are sitting on the fence, which exposes their double mindedness. We in Barbados need to know where our politicians lie on this matter. As the wider Barbadian society is totally against any act legalizing homosexuality.

The only nation within the Caribbean territory to have signed for the declaration is Cuba, therefore the nations of the Caribbean must be careful how we dance with Cuba as Moral and Spiritual values seem to be lacking there.

In October of 2007 Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed into law two bills requiring all public school instruction and activities to positively portray trans-sexuality, bisexuality, and homosexuality to all children.

The world continues to go against the tide when it comes to the word of God, but as soon as things in society starts on a down-hill the same society blames the church for not doing enough to combat the decline.

Clearly morals are on the decline as this act could not be morally right.

Sample of UN signatories who signed either for or against declaration against discrimination based on sexual orientation taken from wapedia.
