Bridgetown - Barbados - Police in Barbados will be conducting an investigation into the winner of the $2.2 million Mega 6 jackpot when the winner does come forward. Could there be some form of fraud involved? The Mega 6 draw was won last Thursday according The Barbados Lottery.
In a statement, the lottery reminded all players to sign the back of each ticket upon purchase since each ticket is a "bearer instrument". As a gas station cashier has been arrested for allegedly stealing over $10 000 worth in lottery tickets.
Players should therefore be careful when checking winnings on tickets that they first sign the ticket before submitting to anyone in order to uphold their safety and security.
