The People's Cathedral started when Pastor Holmes and Rosie experienced the Pentecostal movement for the first time back in 1960.The present building for the church was constructed between 1964 and 1965 on Bishop's Court Hill.
The church believe in the Holy Scripture, both Old and New Testaments are the divinely inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, and the final authority for all Christian faith and life. (2 Tim. 3: 16-17; 2 Peter 1:21).
