Since the announcement of the proposed merger between CWC/ Columbus in November last year many in Barbados have been patiently waiting to see if they will have to remove the FLOW's service, or at least downgrade its packages.
They has been a belief that the company will increase the cost of its services to be in keeping with its LIME counterpart in order to level the playing field. But it is understood also that some of FLOW's customers were trying to avoid the service which LIME offers, and the cost of its services.
This announcement by FLOW/LIME will soon I believe will soon be forthcoming because the merged companies in Jamaica has informed its FLOW customers that they will be a rate increase for some of its cable, telephone and Internet services effective June 1.
Last week, the Cable and Wireless announced that LIME will be going with the flow and will be adopting the name FLOW.
