BRIDGETOWN, Barbados -- Ms. Oprah Winfrey has held a really fantastic interview with pop star Rihanna, for "The Next Chapter" on her Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
Rihanna was thoughtful, she was very emotional, she was volunerable, and she revealed the present she wanted to give her mother since she was a little girl, stated Oprah as an intro to the interview.
Rihanna, real name Robyn Fenty, music career started at the tender age of 16 when she was signed to a record label. Since then she has been making hit after hit after hit.
"I'm living the life of my dreams, and way beyond what I dreamt of" stated Rihanna, after being questioned on her recent trip to the Mediterranean.
In a 40-minute interview with the queen of talk show, Rihanna revealed her feelings about her family, especially her Grandmother who recently passed, her music career from its inception until the present, and having resolved issues with her dad, and former boyfriend, Chris Brown.
Having forgiven Chris Brown, Rihanna said the two will probably always love each other, but they are not romantically involved.
Rihanna further stated that she and Chris Brown maintains a very close friendship, and that Chris is now in a relationship of his own, while she remains single.
Rihanna's mother, Monica Braithwaite who was surprised with a home, told Oprah that she was proud of Rihanna because she had remained so humble, and so close to her family.
Monica also promised Oprah that she being her first guest she would hang a picture of her on the wall.
