Avatar 2 The Movie sequel will explore the Ocean of Pandora

Avatar 2 the 3D Sci-Fi Blockbuster, a sequel of The Avatar Movie will rock Hollywood when it engulfs audiences into the Oceans of Pandora.

Filmmaker James Cameron, is the creator of the Avatar movie of 2009, who wrote and directed the film, which was set in the year 2154. Avatar was portrayed on a moon which had a rainforest appearance, within the star system.

Humans had invaded the moon to mine a precious mineral, but found the native species a threat to their plans.

The film broke several box office records during its release and became the highest-grossing film of all time in North America, and worldwide. After grossing more than two billion dollars.

James Cameron has stated, however, that in the Avatar 2 Movie he'll be focusing on the ocean of Pandora, which will be equally rich and diverse and crazy and imaginative as the first. As early as 2006, Cameron stated that if Avatar were successful, he hoped to make two sequels to the film.

"The challenge will be on the next "Avatar" picture... to do what we did before at half the price and in half the time," he explained.

Cameron described the film as a hybrid with a full live-action shoot in combination with computer-generated characters and live environments.

The first Avatar movie was created at a whooping $280-$310 million dollars, and a further $150 million in advertising.
